      Deletes an empty directory from the FTP server. To delete a directory containing files and subdirectories, use the DeleteDirectory method.

      Syntax

      public override void DeleteDirectory(
         string path
      )

      Parameters

      path
      The name of the folder to delete. Some FTP servers may be case-sensitive. This directory must not contain files and subdirectories.

      Remarks

      This method represents FTP RMD command.

      By default, the directory will be deleted from the current working directory. If you want to delete the directory from another location, you could use the SetCurrentDirectory method to change the current working directory. Absolute paths can also be provided. However, some FTP servers might not support absolute paths, and different server types may have different ways of representing absolute paths. The current working directory can be retrieved via the GetCurrentDirectory method.
